How did I work & what's behind it?

Hoe ging ik te werk & wat zit erachter?

I made this illustration in my spare time. It actually started as a quick sketch of the two large figures. After this, I completed the sketch and also gave them appropriate colours in relation to the meaning. The message is love or connection between two people. The blue and yellow figure touch each other (connect), above this arises love (green heart). The heart is green (combination of yellow and blue), so again this symbolises connection.

Ik maakte deze illustratie in mijn vrije tijd. Het begon eigenlijk als een vlugge schets van de twee grote figuren. Hierna vervolledigde ik de schets en gaf ze ook passende kleuren in relatie met de betekenis. De boodschap is de liefde of de verbondenheid tussen twee personen. De blauwe en gele figuur raken elkaar aan (verbinden), hierboven ontstaat de liefde (groene hart). Het hart is groen (combinatie van geel en blauw), dit symboliseert dus nogmaals de verbondenheid.
